Exactly What You Need
InkFades Laser Tattoo Removal has been proud to serve the community. We’re committed to not only providing quality products and services, but going above and beyond to ensure our customers are completely satisfied.
Tattoo removal has been performed with various tools since the start of tattooing. While tattoos were once considered permanent, it is now possible to remove them with treatments, fully or partially.
The "standard modality for tattoo removal" is the non-invasive removal of tattoo pigments using Q-switched lasers. Different types of Q-switched lasers are used to target different colours of tattoo ink depending on the specific light absorption spectra of the tattoo pigments. Typically, black and other darker-colored inks can be removed completely using Q-switched lasers while lighter colors such as yellows and greens are still very difficult to remove. Success can depend on a wide variety of factors including skin color, ink color, and the depth at which the ink was applied.

It is important to perform a consultation prior to any laser treatment, a detailed selection of medical questions need to be answered to rule out any potential adverse reactions arising from the laser treatment.
A patch test will give you and InkFades a good indication of your skins reaction.
Laser Tattoo Removal Aftercare Instructions
After treatment, your treated area may seem like a superficial burn wound. Many patients experience immediate whitening of the area, plus bruising, swelling, blistering, and scabbing. Here are some basic guidelines to handling these side effects and achieving excellent laser tattoo removal results:
For the first 3 days after treatment, keep the treated area bandaged with sterile gauze and protected with a thin layer of Aloe Vera soothing gel. The gauzes will be supplied with each treatment.
After 3 days, keep the treated area clean and dry during the healing process. If necessary, clean the area gently with mild soap and water and pat dry.
Blistering is common after laser treatment and is a part of the natural healing process. Do not be alarmed by blisters, but do protect the area and apply Aloe Vera ointment for at least 24 hours after the blisters have popped.
You may apply cool compresses as necessary for 24 hours after treatment to help reduce discomfort and inflammation. You may take regular Paracetamol but avoid aspirin (as it can increase the risk of bruising or bleeding).
Do not pick any scabs that form. This step is very important to prevent scarring. Avoid any activity (such as shaving) in the treated area that may cause scabs to remove.
Feel free to shower 2 hours after treatment, but avoid high water pressure hitting the treated area. Also, do not soak the treated area until all scabs and blisters have completely healed – that means no baths, hot tubs, or swimming to prevent the chance of infection.
Exercise is generally safe after treatment, as long as all other aftercare instructions have been followed.
Wear a sun block of SPF 30+ over the area for 3 months following treatment. Avoid wearing makeup or creams near the treated area for the first 2 days after treatment.
Itching is very common due to the dehydrating effect of the laser. Use Aloe Vera Gel, Vitamin E ointment or hydrocortisone cream to moisturize the area as it heals.
If the area looks infected (honey-colored crusting, oozing, spreading redness) or you have an extreme reaction, immediately contact medical professionals for help.

The Process from start to finish
We offer a free no obligation consultation where you are asked to complete a thorough confidential medical questionnaire to make sure you are compatible with the laser treatment we offer. During the consultation please ask as many questions as you like to alleviate any concerns.
You may choose to have a free patch test at the time of your concultation or choose an alternate date. The process is to gently test three small dots onto each colour, this should only take seconds.
Your first full treatment will take approximately fifteen minutes during which time most of your tattoo will be treated depending on size, this will be discussed during your consultation.
After your treatment Aloe Vera cooling gel is applied to the area and covered with a sterile plaster or gauze.
Further treatments are six weeks apart to aid in the healing process and to allow your body's own immune system to break down and remove the ink particle
About our laser
AW3 Flash Ink ND Laser System
The AW3®Flash Ink- ND Yag Laser system is best known to be the most effective tattoo removal system. When shooting the Neo Dynamium – Yttrium Aluminium Garnet Laser at the treated area, the pigment particles absorb the light energy and explode rapidly, bursting into tiny pieces, thus diminishing the colour density to get rid of tattoo and skin pigments.
Using the Allwhite3000 Nd Yag laser can safely and effectively remove tattoos, permanent make up, and skin pigmentation such as Nevus of Ota, age spots, sunspots and birthmarks. Tattoo ink particles are too large for the body’s immune system to remove naturally because when tattoo pigment is injected into the lower layers of the skin (dermis) it becomes locked away by a wall of collagen fibres. Q-switched lasers produce very short bursts of high-energy laser light. The light is absorbed by the large ink particles, generating heat that shatters the tattoo pigment into minute particles, which the body is able to remove. Because the tattoo ink selectively absorbs the laser energy, the surrounding skin doesn’t overheat and there is no lasting damage.
